coaching styles

autocratic – strict, make all decisions, in total control.
E.G A coach of an under 11’s division 2 soccer team continuously yells at the players to step up when they are clearly giving their best. He intimidates them when he speaks and constantly criticizes them when they are at training.

democratic – Make decisions with players, more relaxed environment
EG A coach of a soccer team asks the players during their training session what they would like to do and considers if it is good enough to do.
laisse fairee – relaxed do not care too much
A coach turns up to training and asks the players to organize themselves with their training session and basically sits back and watches them.

Coaching Philosophy

When it comes to coaching, I believe that the primary focus in my team should be to have fun. I would enforce rules to keep order in the team, but not to the extent that the sport would not be enjoyable. I would enforce appropriate training sessions in order to be suitable for the level of the team. Winning Isn’t everything.
